What exactly is an AI agent?
An AI agent is software that handles repetitive tasks on your behalf — responding to emails, organizing your calendar, following up with leads — without you lifting a finger. Think of it as a digital operator that works in the background, around the clock, on your behalf.
What is OpenClaw?
OpenClaw is the underlying AI agent framework that powers every ClawNYC deployment. It's the engine — ClawNYC is the white-glove service built on top of it, designed specifically for NYC professionals who want it handled for them.
What's the difference between the Cloud Node and the Local Node?
The Cloud Node is hosted on a dedicated private server managed remotely by us — no shared infrastructure, no other clients on your machine. The Local Node is a physical Mac Mini installed directly in your home or office, meaning your data never leaves your walls. Both are private. The Local Node is just more so.
Is my data private?
Your AI infrastructure is dedicated solely to you — no shared servers, no other clients on your system. When you connect third-party tools like your CRM or inbox, those connections follow their own platform policies, just as they would without us. We don't add any additional data exposure — we just orchestrate what you already use.
What AI models power this?
Depending on your workflow, we deploy models from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, or others. We recommend the right model for the right job — you don't need to think about it.
Who pays for the API usage (OpenAI/Anthropic)?
You do, directly. We configure the accounts in your name using your payment method. This ensures you retain full legal ownership of your API keys and data history. It also prevents service interruptions — your agent runs on your account, not ours.
What happens after I apply?
We review every application personally. If it's a fit, you'll hear from us within 48 hours to schedule a consultation call. Nothing is purchased until we've spoken and agreed on the right setup for you.
Can I cancel the monthly retainer?
Yes. Retainers are month-to-month after the initial setup. We don't lock you into long contracts — if the system is running well and you're happy, you'll want to stay. That's the only retention strategy we believe in.
